About The Position
Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, Kentucky, is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. The specialized hospital offers a fast-paced, friendly work environment focused on helping patients regain physical or cognitive abilities and return home with the highest possible level of independence. The Occupational Therapist provides and directs occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. The position functions under physician orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted; otherwise, a master's degree is required.
- NBCOT registration and licensure in accordance with state requirements.
- Current, valid, active registration or license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal drug use and the effects of drug and alcohol use in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
