About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its new Dallas rehabilitation hospital, which is opening in the fall. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates may have prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learn. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and PAM Health System practices. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
