About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join its home health care team in Beaumont, Texas. The role partners with patients in their homes to support recovery, restore mobility, enhance functional abilities, and improve independence and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist provides skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage, promotes health, helps prevent disability, and delivers hands-on interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a variety of patient personalities effectively.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Professional, compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educate patients and families on techniques that support recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
