About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate, skilled Occupational Therapist to provide home health care to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage in San Antonio, Texas. The therapist partners with patients in their recovery, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life at home. The role focuses on restoring mobility, enhancing functional abilities, promoting health, preventing disability, and supporting long-term wellness through hands-on interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a variety of patient personalities effectively.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educate patients and families on techniques that support recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
