About The Position

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to work in its outpatient clinics in Bellmore and Hewlett. The therapist will split time between the two clinics, which are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The position provides individualized outpatient occupational therapy care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Mentorship is available for new graduates. The anticipated base salary range is $80,000–$90,000, with eligibility for incentive compensation. Salary is based on factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Incentive compensation is subject to change and benefits are subject to the terms of the Company's plan.

Requirements

Graduate of an Occupational Therapist program.
New York State Occupational Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
Strong communication and patient education skills.
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
CPR and First Aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Outpatient experience preferred; mentorship is available for new graduates.
Sensory integration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one outpatient occupational therapy care.
Evaluate, design, and adjust individualized care plans.
Fabricate custom splints as needed.
Document evaluations and treatment progress.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
