About The Position

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist for its growing outpatient clinic in Hewlett. The clinic has state-of-the-art facilities and treats patients of all ages. The position offers a consistent schedule of 16–24 hours per week at $45 per hour; full-time opportunities are also available. The therapist will provide individualized outpatient occupational therapy, fabricate custom splints as needed, document care in an EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Mentorship is available for new graduates.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapist program.
• New York State Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one outpatient occupational therapy care.
• Evaluate patients and develop and modify individualized treatment plans.
