About The Position

The Occupational Therapist works part-time in the inpatient program at Sunnyview Rehab Hospital. The schedule is 20 hours per week: six-hour days on Thursdays and Fridays and an eight-hour day on Saturdays. The role includes evaluating and re-evaluating patients, developing and adapting individualized plans of care, and documenting care accurately and promptly. The position offers a pay range of $41.51–$53.72 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Requirements

Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree.
Current New York State occupational therapy license and registration.
Experience in inpatient/acute care or inpatient physical rehabilitation is required.
Ability to function well within a team of rehabilitation professionals.
Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques.
Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans of care, including appropriate goals, treatment activities, and frequency.
Document accurately and in a timely manner.
