About The Position
AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide full-time, onsite therapy in Clawson, Michigan. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support Early On-12th grade students. Requirements
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for working with diverse student populations.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday.
- Conduct evaluations, help develop IFSPs/IEPs as appropriate, and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs.
- Collaborate with families, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings including in the home.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.
