About The Position

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Fayetteville, West Virginia, serving Nicholas and Fayette counties. The role involves delivering one-to-one care in patients’ homes, working independently with support from the care team, and helping patients achieve greater independence and function. The position offers flexible scheduling options and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current occupational therapist licensure in the state.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification; certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two years of experience in adult occupational therapy.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Physical therapy skills as outlined in the competency checklist.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and function.
• Maintain communication with the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable.
• Document services thoroughly and promptly to support proper billing.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
