About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to work in an acute care setting. This weekend position requires working at least two weekend days per month, with the opportunity to pick up weekday shifts. The therapist will work with a driven, compassionate, and supportive team and treat a broad range of patient populations, including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, and General Debility. The role offers a team-based approach, frequent interdisciplinary interaction, and ongoing mentoring. The position pays a flat rate of $59.00 per hour, plus any applicable differentials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• At least one year of clinical experience.
• Occupational Therapist licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Delaware.
• CPR certification.

• AOTA membership or affiliation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy in an acute care setting to a variety of patient populations, including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, and General Debility.
• Work collaboratively with the occupational therapy team and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Work at least two weekend days per month; weekday shifts may also be available.
