About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its in-house rehabilitation team at GV Manor in Twinsburg, Ohio. Sprenger Therapy is a clinician-led and clinician-supported, family-owned organization—not a contract therapy company. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, protected therapy time, clinical autonomy, mentorship, and decisions guided by resident outcomes and needs. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, and provides therapy to restore function, independence, and quality of life. The therapist also conducts screenings, identifies residents who may benefit from intervention, collaborates with and supervises COTA staff as applicable, initiates referrals in accordance with department procedures, and documents care clearly and efficiently. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship available from day one.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
Current OT license or eligibility for licensure.
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
