About The Position
San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Fresno, California, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients. The role includes assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication, and functions under physician’s orders. The position may serve inpatient or outpatient patients on a PRN basis. San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital is a 62-bed acute rehabilitation hospital serving people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted; otherwise, a master’s degree is required.
- NBCOT registration and licensure in accordance with state requirements.
- Current, valid, and active registration or license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of, and effects of use of, drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
