About The Position
Metro PT is hiring a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing outpatient clinic in Astoria, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities! This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time schedule as the clinic grows. Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company that offers Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture services. Requirements
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
- NYS Occupational Therapy License or eligible
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred (mentorship available for new grads)
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one outpatient OT care
- Evaluate, develop, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Fabricate custom splints as needed
- Document evaluations and treatment progress in EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
