About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a school team in South Carolina. This full-time, school-based role provides individualized, student-centered occupational therapy services to help students address functional challenges, participate in classroom activities, and build independence. The Occupational Therapist supports skills including fine motor abilities, handwriting, sensory processing, visual-motor skills, and daily living activities, while collaborating with educators, families, and school support teams.

Requirements

• Complete the required supervised fieldwork experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Hold a current, active South Carolina occupational therapy license or be eligible to obtain state licensure; a valid license is required before practicing.
• Successfully complete a board-approved occupational therapy certification examination and maintain good standing with NBCOT or another board-approved certification program.
• Graduate from an occupational therapy education program approved by ACOTE or another accrediting body accepted by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ functional needs and provide individualized occupational therapy services.
• Support students’ fine motor, handwriting, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skills.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom strategies.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
• Contribute to IEP planning and collaborate with teachers, families, and school support teams.
