About The Position

This role is for an Occupational Therapist (OTR) within an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, distinct from a contract therapy company. The focus is on delivering meaningful, patient-centered care. The therapy teams are clinician-led and clinician-supported, allowing therapists to concentrate on patient needs. The organization emphasizes an in-house therapy model where loyalty is to residents, not a contract company's bottom line. Therapy time is protected, and therapists have autonomy in their clinical judgment. Mentorship and a stable, family-oriented culture with accessible leadership are provided. Care decisions are guided by outcomes and patient needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR
Current OT license or license-eligible
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life
Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention
Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable
Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
