Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services.
  • Active Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia.
  • Active member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Ability to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized, transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.
  • Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs, continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.
  • Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating seamlessly with physicians, families, consultants, and community partners.
  • Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
  • Maintain precise, timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards, licensing requirements, and strict ethics of confidentiality.
