Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services.
Active Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia.
Active member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Ability to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized, transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.
Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs, continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.
Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating seamlessly with physicians, families, consultants, and community partners.
Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
Maintain precise, timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards, licensing requirements, and strict ethics of confidentiality.
