About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Missouri. The role involves working 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times coordinated with the Director of Rehabilitation. No weekends or on-call duties are required. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with cognitive and functional impairments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient independence and quality of life.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and cognitive rehabilitation
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and evidence-based treatment practices
• Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cognitive and functional impairments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient independence and quality of life.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), rehabilitation aides, and students.
