About The Position
Help middle school students build the skills they need to thrive! Join Cross Country Education in Arlington Heights, IL as a compassionate Occupational Therapist and support students in developing greater independence, confidence, and success in the classroom this school year. Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward individualized goals. Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility and recommend appropriate supports and interventions. Provide MTSS and IEP support while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and skill development. Consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
