About The Position

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, provides occupational therapy services to children in its Early Intervention program. Services may take place in the home or a center. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and assesses children, tracks their progress, delivers services as mandated in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), collaborates with families and other professionals, and completes documentation and progress notes. The posted pay range is USD $54.00–$90.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• DOH approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings, which may include the home or a center.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
