About The Position
AVIR at Tierra Este, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join its in-house therapy team. The facility treats a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offers opportunities to create and implement programs in cognition, activities of daily living, creative groups, functional maintenance, sensory integration, and other areas. The organization describes its therapy network as a growing group of more than 80 skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities and emphasizes developing therapy leaders, supporting patients and residents, and providing quality care.
Requirements
- Texas occupational therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement therapy programs in areas including cognition, activities of daily living, groups, functional maintenance, and sensory integration.
