FT Occupational Therapist (OT)
About The Position
Western Home Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (Full-time) to join our mission-driven therapy team. In this role, you’ll empower residents to regain independence and enhance their quality of life through individualized therapy interventions. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while serving adult and geriatric populations within our supportive continuum of care environment. This is a full-time position that will split time between our Cedar Falls and Grundy campus'. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active (or eligible) Iowa Occupational Therapy license.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Professional judgment and problem-solving ability.
- A passion for helping others achieve their best quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and deliver effective occupational therapy treatments in accordance with state practice guidelines.
- Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients in post-acute, long-term, and transitional care settings.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans and achieve positive outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy goals, techniques, and progress.
- Provide appropriate supervision and guidance for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
