About The Position
Right at Home Des Moines is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one home health therapy services. Requirements
- Current Iowa Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety and adaptive techniques
- Recommend home modifications and adaptive equipment
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Complete accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
