About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is hiring an in-house Occupational Therapist at Autumn Aegis in Lorain, Ohio. Sprenger Therapy is the rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization operating 12 skilled nursing facilities across Ohio and South Carolina. The organization describes its therapy model as clinician-led and clinician-supported, with care decisions guided by patient needs and outcomes. Requirements

Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
Current occupational therapy license or license eligibility.
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life.
Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable.
Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures.
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
