Full-time Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Functional Pathways is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join their team at Westminster Canterbury Richmond, an award-winning Life Care Community in Richmond, VA. This role will involve working across a 60-acre campus serving nearly 900 residents in independent, assisted, memory support, and healthcare living settings. The community is celebrating 50 years and is expanding with a new Vital Living Center and Clubhouse, including a fitness center, aquatic center, and spa. The Occupational Therapist will be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, contributing to Functional Pathways' 30-year history of providing world-class clinical services with a holistic, patient-centered approach. This includes addressing neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs with innovative treatments like aquatic therapy. Therapists receive training and certification in specialty programs and company-paid CEUs through MedBridge are available for full-time and part-time team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the Physician.
