About The Position

The Occupational Therapist is an integral member of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) team. This role participates in an interdisciplinary team approach, ensuring practice standards are compliant with those established by the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists (SSOT). In alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the SHA, the incumbent manages a clinical caseload and delivers direct care to clients. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing appropriate assessment and treatment interventions to clients referred for occupational therapy services. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, with over 45,000 staff, and is dedicated to providing coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centred healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists

Responsibilities
