Occupational Therapist – Home Care
About The Position
AmeriStaff Nursing Services is looking for Occupational Therapists to provide in-home care to our patients in the Metro Detroit area. The perfect candidate will be professional and compassionate to provide meaningful, one-on-one care to our patient. This is a contingent position that pays $75 per 1-hour for an evaluation and $75 per 1-hour for a visit, and a great opportunity to gain experience, while having a flexible schedule. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
- Minimum of one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage patient schedules effectively
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills
- Educate patients and family members on treatment strategies and home safety
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
