Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - Per Diem
About The Position
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and caring Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our state-of-the-art Inpatient Rehab Unit within Hartford Hospital. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule with a minimum requirement of 16 hours per month. The unit features 26 private inpatient rooms, providing patients with access to ongoing acute medical management, 24-hour rehabilitative nursing care, and the latest rehab techniques. Our team is dedicated to delivering personalized, coordinated care in a healing environment to shorten length of stay and facilitate a quicker, healthier return home. The Occupational Therapist will treat patients with various diagnoses, focusing on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions. This role is part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team and offers access to the opportunities and benefits of a comprehensive rehab care system.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program from an accredited American Occupational Therapy Association school (BS, MS, or Doctoral degree).
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) License or eligibility required.

- Holiday availability preferred.
