About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, operating in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy and a part of Trinity Health. Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that help restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to disabled persons.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Occupational Therapy is required.
- Current Florida State Licensure in the State of Florida in Florida.
- BLS from American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- NBCOT is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain necessary records.
- Conduct research in occupational therapy.
- Consult with rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
- Evaluate patients' progress and prepare reports that detail progress.
- Test and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
