Occupational Therapist-Full-Time Days- Home Care

As part of our tight-knit team, you’ll have the opportunity to help patients gain functional independence and live fulfilling lives, while continuously moving forward in your career. Evaluate, plan, and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for our adult population in their home setting in such areas as neuro, orthopedic, general medicine, and dysphagia/swallow. This position covers NYP/Lawrence Home Care of Westchester, a certified home health agency. This is a full-time day position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- New York State Occupational Therapist License within one year of hire, or NYS Limited Permit if applicable
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy practices
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in home care, nursing home setting, hospital and or rehabilitation facilities
- Master’s Degree
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification
- AOTA Membership
