About The Position

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist helps children build essential skills for daily life through engaging, child-centered therapy services. This role offers the opportunity to work in clinic and community settings, partner with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric team to support meaningful developmental outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum of one (1) year of human services experience
  • Active Occupational Therapist license (OT/L) in the applicable state(s)
  • Member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • Required to travel between the Grand Forks, ND, clinic and the Thief River Falls, MN, clinic half the time.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of neuro-rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality service delivery through participant evaluations, assessments, and development of individualized treatment plans
  • Administer innovative occupational therapy treatment programs and communicate treatment needs to appropriate staff
  • Complete re-evaluations and make programmatic changes as needed while effectively managing an assigned caseload
  • Develop and implement home exercise programs and perform home evaluations as appropriate
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation, including service reports and weekly schedule requests submitted to the supervisor.
  • Participate in rehabilitation treatment teams, case conferences, and departmental meetings to support program development and operational effectiveness.
  • Attend required trainings, seminars, and all mandatory CCS education to maintain clinical competency.
  • Collaborate with physicians, professionals, paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and community resources to ensure effective occupational therapy service.
  • Provide and participate in in-service training for OT staff and other CCS employees as requested.
  • Assist with the maintenance of departmental budgets and the monitoring of therapy equipment.
  • Adhere to Service Monitoring System (SMS) standards, accreditation and licensure requirements, and confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Direct and supervise assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training
  • Participate in hiring decisions, transfers, promotions, salary recommendations, corrective actions, and terminations within the scope of responsibility
  • Address and resolve employee concerns in alignment with organizational policies and procedures
