About The Position

Rowell’s Services is seeking a motivated Mini Split Installer to join their team. This role involves installing ductless mini-split systems, performing refrigerant line set installations, vacuum evacuation, refrigerant charging, electrical wiring, condensate drain installation, and system startup. The installer will also be responsible for reading blueprints and diagrams, communicating with customers and team members, and maintaining their company vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem-solving, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement, aiming to build a career within a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • EPA Section 608 Certification (required in the U.S. for handling refrigerants).
  • OSHA safety training (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is often preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for solving problems.
  • Excellent customer communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of ductless mini-split systems from varied manufacturers.
  • Refrigerant line set installation, flaring, brazing (when applicable), and leak testing.
  • Vacuum evacuation and proper refrigerant charging procedures.
  • Electrical wiring and controls installation.
  • Condensate drain installation and troubleshooting.
  • System startup, commissioning, and performance verification.
  • Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and team members.
  • Maintain your company vehicle — clean, stocked, and ready for the next call.
  • Represent Rowell’s Services with a professional appearance and attitude.
