Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility for licensure
Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
New graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and safety
Provide interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, balance, and adaptive equipment
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on functional strategies for success
Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, OTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and case management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to maximize patient outcomes
