We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility in Linden, Michigan. As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You'll work closely with an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Requirements

Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Passion for helping older adults achieve their highest level of independence

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies
