About The Position
Join our experienced Rehab team at Southington Care Center to provide customized rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment. Southington Care Center features a state-of-the–art rehab pavilion complete with Aqua Therapy and an Occupational Therapy suite that replicates the home setting. Our staff promotes quality of life while fostering maximum well-being, with a wide range of wellness programs. Requirements
- Graduate of Occupational Therapy Program from an accredited American Occupational Therapy Association school, BS degree or entry level master's degree.
- Current Occupational Therapist License required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in mental health treatment, conducting evaluations, group facilitation skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, restore and remediate, in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work.
- Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components.
