About The Position
A Per-Diem Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Kennebunk, ME. Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation is a 78-bed skilled nursing facility conveniently located off the Maine Turnpike. This newly renovated facility is a busy and fast-paced environment where you will be working with the geriatric population, treating both short-term and long-term care patients. The center has a fantastic rehab team made up of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and a speech therapist, along with a supportive rehab director. Preferred Therapy Solutions, the company operating the center, is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands the needs of therapists for success. They offer a generous paid time off package for full and part-time employees and have an education department to support continuing education.
Requirements
- Possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
