About The Position
A Per-Diem Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department at Durgin Pines, a 5-star skilled nursing facility located in Kittery, ME. The facility is situated on acres of private wooded property in a quiet coastal neighborhood, conveniently located near downtown Portsmouth, coastal beaches, Kittery Outlets, and major highways. Durgin Pines features a recently renovated large gym space and provides both inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient services. An onsite preschool is available to staff, fostering interaction between students and residents to create a unique community environment. The facility hosts various community events throughout the year. Preferred Therapy Solutions, the employer, is owned and operated by therapists, emphasizing ethical patient care and understanding the needs of therapists for success. Requirements
- Possess a current Occupational Therapist license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
