About The Position

A full-time Floating Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in Northern/ Central CT. The floating OT will provide OT therapy services to multiple different sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities throughout the Northern/ Central CT region. Travel time and mileage is paid when traveling in between two or more facilities on one day. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands what therapists need to be successful. Requirements

  • Possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
  • Work well with others in a team setting.
  • Be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide OT therapy services to multiple different sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities throughout the Northern/ Central CT region.
  • Float to facilities throughout Northern/ Central CT to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
  • Work well with others in a team setting.
  • Be flexible with hours.
