About The Position

A full-time split Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab departments. The successful candidate will split time between two facilities located in Dexter and Hartland. Travel time and mileage are paid when traveling in between two facilities on one day. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands what therapists need to be successful. They know that a healthy balance between work and family is important and offer a generous paid time off package. They also have a great education department to help therapists stay up to date. The success of residents relies on the success of therapists, and providing the highest quality care brings the highest outcome for residents, helping them reach their highest level of independence.

Requirements

  • Possess a current Occupational Therapist license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Be flexible with hours
