About The Position

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position for an Occupational Therapist specializing in Pediatrics at High Point Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment, and supervision of support staff. The therapist will maintain accurate documentation, meet department financial and productivity standards, and participate in process management to optimize service quality and efficiency. The position also involves promoting professional development, conducting in-service training, and communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff. The role requires providing age and developmentally appropriate patient care.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
• Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers and provide quality care for patients.
• Able to communicate with patients of all age groups and significant others appropriate to the level of comprehension.
• Has knowledge, clinical skills, and understanding of the patient throughout the entire span of life.
