About The Position

AB Staffing is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT – Float) to support multiple school locations in the Crestwood, IL area for the 2025–2026 school year. This position follows the academic calendar and offers consistent weekday hours with the variety of working across campuses. This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week, for the full 2025-2026 school year, working in a K-12 setting. The role involves floating between multiple school sites. Caseload, mileage expectations, and school placements will be discussed prior to an offer to ensure a great fit.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Illinois OT License (OTR/L)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Comfortable floating between multiple school sites
• BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students using standardized assessments and clinical observation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support functional and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between assigned school buildings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
