About The Position

AB Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based assignment in Antioch, Illinois for the 2025–2026 school year. This role follows the academic district calendar and offers consistent school hours. The position is located in Antioch, IL, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the full 2025–2026 school year. The caseload and placement will be discussed prior to an offer to best match your experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Illinois Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to travel between school buildings as needed
• BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students using standardized assessments and clinical observation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional skills and school participation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document services and progress in accordance with district and state requirements
• Support safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
