About The Position
Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis at Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain independence in daily living activities. Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a 57-bed facility dedicated to acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program – Required
- Current TN State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inpatient rehab preferred
- Familiarity with rehab documentation systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ daily living skills.
- Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
