About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an inpatient acute care rehabilitation team. The therapist will provide evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy services for patients across multiple levels of care, including ICU and progressive care units. The role focuses on restoring function, improving independence, and supporting safe discharge planning.

Requirements

• Active Indiana Occupational Therapist License
• NBCOT Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience in an Acute Care Hospital setting

Nice To Haves

• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide ADL training and functional rehabilitation interventions
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence and function
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff
• Make discharge recommendations based on patient progress and functional status
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
