About The Position

This full-time Occupational Therapist position is located within the Inpatient Rehabilitation department at Navicent Health Medical Center. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment, and documentation, while adhering to hospital and departmental policies. The therapist will also supervise support staff, participate in process management, and contribute to professional development within the healthcare team. The position requires effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers, with a strong emphasis on age-appropriate care.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
• Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers and provide quality care for patients.
• Able to communicate with patients of all age groups and significant others appropriate to the level of comprehension.
• Has knowledge, clinical skills, and understanding of the patient throughout the entire span of life.

• Previous hospital experience preferred.
