About The Position
Assisted is looking for a per diem Occupational Therapist for Home Health supporting our Covina branch. This role involves evaluating patients and initiating treatment plans to assist with pain relief, disability prevention, body skill development, function restoration, and maintaining maximum capabilities through graded functional Occupational Therapy activities. The goal is to increase patient independence and success in maximizing their everyday living and working skills. The pay is $75 per visit plus $11 for mileage for both evaluations and routine visits.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist
- At least one year of experience in occupational therapy

Responsibilities
- Team with nurses, physical therapists and other medical professionals in order to provide our patients with the best possible therapeutic care, with the goal of increasing their independence and their overall success in maximizing their everyday living and working skills
- Evaluate the level of function and initiate a plan of treatment for Occupational Therapy to assist with relieving pain, preventing disability, developing body skills, restoring function and maintaining maximum capabilities through the use of graded functional Occupational Therapy activities
