About The Position

Our outpatient therapy practice located at Albany Memorial, 600 Northern Blvd., Albany is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience to join its team of dedicated healthcare providers. Needs would be during the weekdays. No weekends. Thrive in this Outpatient Setting with Patient and Staff friendly productivity standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree
• Current NYS OT license and registration
• Hand Therapy (OT) experience required.
• Must be able to function well within a team concept of rehabilitation professionals.
• Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques specific to hand therapy.
• Establishes, implements, and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency).
• Documents accurately and in a timely manner.
