About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Hand Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Elk Grove, CA. Our clinic is fully equipped to treat a wide range of conditions—from post-surgical and non-operative cases to work conditioning and return-to-function programs. Requirements

Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)-accredited school of occupational therapy
CPR certification
Valid driver’s license
Minimum two years experience in hand therapy

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
