Evaluate patients, plan treatment programs, and provide occupational therapy interventions in order to maximize the value, potential, and satisfaction of our customers. This role requires a State of Michigan OT Licensure and BLS Certification within 6 months of hire. The ideal candidate will have intermediate level of static orthoplastic splinting and experience with physical agents modalities. Preferred experience includes physical disabilities and two years in an outpatient setting. A graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification are also preferred. The position demands effective written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing work situations. The therapist must demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients serviced. CHT certification is required for this OT position.
