About The Position

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA/COTA) to provide home healthcare to patients in Pembroke, Massachusetts. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and compensation of $37–$45 per visit. The assistant provides skilled occupational therapy interventions in patients’ homes under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping patients improve daily living skills, functional abilities, and independence through individualized care. Requirements

Current Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.
Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
Afternoon availability.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under an Occupational Therapist’s supervision.
Help patients develop skills for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Instruct patients in the safe use of adaptive equipment.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
