About The Position

Within the scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapist Assistant provides prescribed therapeutic services to restore and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. The position performs responsibilities in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, including Title 22 Sections 70517 and 70519.

Requirements

• Associate degree (COTA) from an accredited program.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

• OTAC membership.

Responsibilities
